নাদের আলি - আর কেউ খোঁজে না তোমাকে

সুনীলের হাহাকার লোক টা কি শুনেছিলো?
"নাদের আলি আমি আর কতো বড় হবো, আমার মাথা এ ঘরের..."
লোকটা কেমন  ছিল, নাদের আলি?
পারানির মাঝি ছিল? বহুবার এ পাড় ও পাড়
ঘাট থেকে ঘাটে নিয়ে যেত?
নিজের কাজের মাঝে বরাভয় বন্ধু হয়ে
মাছ, পাখি, জল আর আকাশ চেনাত'?
নাকি আরও বেশি দিত কিশোরকে স্বাধীনতা ?
কখনো হঠাৎ বৈঠাটা তুলে দিত হাতে?
নাও,  দাঁর বাও!
তারপর হুঁকো টায় আগুন ধরিয়ে গলুইয়ের কোনে বসে
সুখটান দিত?
নাকি ছিল বাগানের মালি, কিম্বা ঘোড়ার সহিশ?
বাপ কাকা জেঠা দের নজর এড়িয়ে
গাছেতে চড়তে দিত?  কিম্বা ঘোড়ার পিঠে ?
চাবুকটা হাঁতে দিত সাবধান করে ?
"একদম চালাবে না" !
কিশোর তাতেই খুশি, বড়দের দুনিয়াটা হাতের মুঠোয় পেয়ে!
এভাবেই একদিন ৪৭ পেরিয়ে তারা এ পার ও পার
মাঝে কাঁটাতার - ও পারে নাদের আর এ পারে সুনীল!
পদ্মদিঘির বিল - হায়রে সুনীল,
নাদেরও কি কষ্ট পেয়েছিলো সুনীলের হাহাকার শুনে ?
এরকম বহুবার ঘটে গেছে পৃথিবীর বুকে,
উপলক্ষ কিছু পেলে লাগে নি সময়
টেনে দিতে আড়াআড়ি মানুষের বুকে কাঁটাতার,
প্রিয়জন এ পার ও পার,
থেকে গেছে শুধু হাহাকার!

The Business of being in Politics

No Holds Barred! That has become the catchword, when you are talking about the significance of  Politics - its on the house In a very fast motion our country is becoming a cesspool of politicking where the issue of being or not being in power is considered. And no one is bothered as to how we the people are supposed to feel about it, from a peculiar smugness that is predetermined -  if the question of propriety is raised, be in the denial mode and justify with any damn logic that comes to the mind!
And behold - after all who is going to raise the question? The public in general do not have a voice that can be heard by public in general, the social Medias are in the process of being muzzled in, and the Electronic News media which had  developed a beautiful mechanism for public interaction had been doubly muzzled with the "Zu Zu" named renewal of license. And god, are they muzzled? Well they are also in the denial mode!
So at the end of the day, it is movement like Anna's anti corruption crusade that is going to flutter a lot of feathers! And the feathers are already falling round the Nation. But in the end if it all becomes a saga of politicking for convenient end then its bad time for all of us!
After all Politics is supreme in our Nation.
